We are delighted to share the success of our UK counterpart, K9 Metropolitan Specialists UK, in completing a major international procurement for the Singapore Police K-9 Unit. A total of 11 expertly selected service dogs have now departed the United Kingdom for Singapore, where they will begin advanced training in either detection or patrol roles.
This achievement underscores the global reach and consistent excellence of the K9 Metropolitan Specialists group in delivering world-class working dogs to law enforcement agencies across the world.
Cross-Border Excellence and Trusted Partnerships
Of the 11 dogs deployed to Singapore, 6 were prepared at our UK partner’s trusted facility in Randalstown, County Antrim, Northern Ireland—a long-established centre known for producing highly capable and operationally ready service dogs. This international collaboration highlights the strength and depth of our training and development network.
Each dog was carefully selected and evaluated to meet the high operational standards of the Singapore Police, ensuring a seamless transition into specialised training and, ultimately, active duty in service of public safety.
Continued Commitment: Next Phase Begins
Following this successful deployment, K9 Metropolitan Specialists UK is already preparing the next group of service dogs for procurement to Singapore in September. This upcoming batch will continue the mission of delivering reliable, disciplined, and driven working dogs for high-stakes detection and patrol operations.
