On the 20th September 2024, we had the pleasure of demoing 4 dogs to Singapore Police to complete their procurement of dogs to join their new handlers at serving and protecting Singapore as a country and other countries further afar.
Three out of 4 dogs have successfully been selected and deployed out to Singapore to join the ranks in the Police department. Trained and supplied by K9 Met are 2 German Shepherd Dogs and 1 Labrador that have been trained to what we call a ‘green level’ with good attention to obedience, few bite-work sessions for the GP (general purpose) dogs and a focus on ball drive for detection dogs. Dusty (female) and Loki (male) will be trained as fully operational GP Police dogs, whilst Buddy will be trained down the route of being a Sniffer dog. Whether it be for drugs or explosives for Buddy, we believe he will smash it. All female dogs trained and supplied by us, will undergo a spaying procedure as well as like the rest, will also have elbow and hip x-rays too.
Of course, Buddy, Dusty and Loki have passed health checks perfectly and now we await for their import permits before we can allocate them a first class flight to Singapore. We are international exporters and can ship to most countries. We can arrange for forwarding freight to destinations to all parts of the world. We assist and ensure all documents are correct from start to finish!
By mid October 2024, we hope that all 3 dogs mentioned above will leave the UK to start their new chapter in Singapore.
